Fun Fact: At age 12, Russell’s first kiss was Diana Ross. In front of a crowd of thousands, Ms. Ross picked Russell out of the crowd, danced with him, and sealed the moment with a smooch. Since, then, Russell has been in love…with the entertainment industry.

A tv host and pop culture legal expert, Russell Wetanson can be seen on CNN, E!, TV Guide Network, and Current TV, among other outlets. He has covered numerous red carpet premieres and press junkets, interviewing celebrities such as Fergie, Beyonce, Matthew McConaughey, Christina Ricci, Josh Groban, Shia Le Bouf, Patricia Heaton, Dr. Phil and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Russell started his career in law, like Geraldo Rivera and Dan Abrams before him. After graduating from UCLA Law, Russell represented high profile clients (ever heard of Madonna?!?) and was named by Los Angeles Magazine as one of Southern California’s Rising Super Lawyers for three years in a row.

Combining his legal background and extensive knowledge of pop culture, Russell founded a popular blog, www.popsquire.com. On Popsquire, Russell examines the daily collision between pop culture and law.  Representing the website, Russell also contributes to Leeza Gibbons' "Hollywood Confidential" and US Weekly's "Fashion Police."

Currently residing in Los Angeles, Russell spends his free time feeding his tv addiction, training his puggle puppy, and hiking.
